Jay Liese
AIA, NCARB
Principal, Chief Operating Officer
Dallas, Texas USA
For Jay, his desire to contribute has inspired a 38-year career in which he established and grew our New York office, led the New York Aviation practice for nearly 20 years, and completed terminal projects for more than a dozen airlines and airports. These projects — including renovations and new terminal designs at New York City's airports — encompass some of his proudest achievements. “I enjoy having the opportunity to work with talented teams of architects and designers to positively contribute to the built environment, leaving the world a little better place than we found it,” Jay says.
His work leading teams in the design of buildings and spaces for world-class clients is informed by a strong background in classical architecture as well as an appreciation for time-tested theories of order, proportion, and scale.
Even outside of work, Jay doesn’t stray too far. One of his greatest passions, he says, is “owning, restoring, and renovating historic structures in an economically sustainable way, preserving our cultural heritage for future generations.”
My job is to be a fierce advocate for my client.
