As a leader in the Healthcare Studio, Chris listens to and understands the vision of our clients — anticipating their needs and expanding their perspectives through trust. He leads his team in partnering with healthcare systems to develop meaningful spaces for staff, patients, and their families. “We believe life is precious — elevating the patient, family, and community experience through empathy and ingenuity to help people during the most stressful times of their lives is the most important job we can imagine.”
Chris is involved in all phases of project work, from concept visioning and development through final construction on projects throughout the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East. His strengths as a strategist and relationship builder make him an invaluable leader in the Healthcare Studio, overseeing projects including the Midlothian Medical Center, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, the PEEL Memorial Hospital in Canada, and Cook Children’s North Tower Expansion in Fort Worth
Chris is LEED AP and a Certified Lean Green Belt and received the Texas Society of Architects Associate Award and the AIA Dallas Associate Award for his contributions as editor of AIA Dallas Columns magazine. In his spare time, Chris volunteers for 2ndSaturday and Hearts and Hammers, organizations dedicated to renovating and repairing homes in low-income communities in the Dallas area.
