Principal, Commercial Sector Leader

Joe is never one to back down from a challenge. In fact, his competitive nature is partly what attracted him to architecture in the first place. “I consider architecture a profession that demands constant evolution and new ways of thinking,” he says. “I’m motivated by taking on challenging assignments and charting a path to success through strategic thinking.”
Joe’s affinity for tackling challenges has led to his involvement in some of our largest and most notable projects to date, for clients including Toyota, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, State Farm, and Parkland Hospital. In the last 10 years alone, he’s managed projects encompassing more than 7 million square feet. As much as spaces, though, Joe enjoys building relationships with clients and colleagues alike. As the leader of our Commercial Sector, he focuses on fostering relationships with both our clients and our younger staff to help them achieve success.
Joe enjoys volunteering in his community, spending time with his wife and three daughters, and getting outdoors. “One of my favorite activities is an annual trip to Colorado to hike 14ers — mountains with a peak elevation above 14,000 feet,” he says.
