Studio Design Director, Associate Principal
Sabu Song is a Studio Design Director and Associate Principal for Corgan, based in the firm’s Los Angeles Studio. In her role, Sabu leads design vision and execution, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver thoughtful, impactful environments that elevate human experience and client outcomes.
With more than two decades of experience in architectural design, Sabu brings a deep understanding of design leadership, project delivery, and studio culture. She has led high-performing teams and advanced design excellence across a broad range of project types, including arts and culture, aviation, retail, mixed-use residential, office and more.
Sabu is passionate about building best-practice studios that embrace the art of craft and a thoughtful design process as drivers of innovation. Guided by a rigorous attention to detail, she has demonstrated that aspirational design creates exceptional mentoring opportunities, strengthens communities, and delivers meaningful value to the companies and institutions served.
Sabu earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Brigham Young University and Bachelor of Architecture from University of California Berkley. Her concept-driven approach to design has earned numerous accolades, including the IIDA Global Award, Interior Design Best of Year Award, Seoul Architecture Award, International Architecture Award, and AIA Best Institute Award, among many others.
