Vice President, Senior Project Manager
As a senior project manager in Corgan’s Chicago Aviation Studio, Lorena brings more than 20 years of industry experience to her role — 10 of which have been dedicated to airport and airline projects. Her deep understanding of airline operations and spatial requirements allows her to successfully navigate the complexities of large-scale aviation projects and build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups, always keeping the project’s vision and goals at the forefront.
Lorena has contributed to the planning and programming of major terminal projects, including the O’Hare Global Terminal. Her work has included developing strategic move plans that facilitated the transition of over 20 airline operations from Terminals 5 and 6 to Terminals 2 and 3 at LAX, as well as leading the overnight renumbering of more than 100 gates at SFO. Her attention to detail and operational insight have been key to the success of these complex initiatives.
Passionate about people, Lorena believes that understanding how passengers and airport staff interact with airport environments leads to more thoughtful and effective design. Her user-centered approach ensures spaces are not only functional but also enhance the experience for everyone who uses them.
Lorena earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Woodbury University.
