Keith O'Connor
C.M.
Associate Principal, Aviation Planning Director
Dallas, Texas USA
Keith is an expert in the technical aspects of planning, but where he really excels is in building relationships. He feels aviation is a people business informed by various sources. “Once we understand what our clients are trying to accomplish, we can serve them in meaningful ways — quite simply, our work begins and ends with client relationships.”
Keith assesses client wants through interactions that often begin long before a tangible need arises. As the leader of the Aviation Planning Group, he says planning is critical to terminal design and architecture. Keith has worked on a wide variety of airport projects around the globe — from LAX International, Chicago O’Hare, and JFK to London Heathrow and regional facilities. His team serves as the studio-wide technical resource, providing macro-level assessment and strategic implementation plans for airport growth and expansion. “Aviation planning and architecture go hand-in-hand, and when these disciplines work in tandem, they provide a truly unique perspective to produce a vision for clients,” he states.
Outside of work, you can find Keith traveling and exploring new cities, or playing golf, hiking, or downhill skiing outdoors.
