As head of our legal department, Stephanie is responsible for all of our legal functions worldwide, including compliance, risk management, contracting, and ESOP administration. She does what she can to help her colleagues succeed — but always with the larger firm in mind. As the CLO, it is her job to help figure out how to get to a ‘yes’ within legal parameters and based upon what is best for the firm. Her goal is always to try and make things happen.
Her colleagues are what inspire her most — “the really smart and creative people who create amazing spaces,” Stephanie says — and she’s proud of the culture they’ve built together. Her work helping Corgan transition to an Employee Stock Ownership model has been some of the most rewarding, she says. “Giving employees ownership in the firm says a lot about the Corgan culture and how it values every employee,” says Stephanie. She is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and serves on the board of the Women’s In-House Network.
