Improving flow and security at Kansas City International.
The existing CBP facility was designed and built in the traditional INS - Bag Claim - US Customs - Secondary and out passenger processing flow. This space was inefficient as some areas were not used, and the finishes were well-worn. Corgan planned and phased the renovation to convert from a traditional to a one-stop processing flow. This project was designed using the latest version of the Airport Technical Design Standards. This single-level, three-gate, 600-passenger-per-hour CBP facility provides improved flow for passengers and officers.
