We want to hear from you

Thornton-018

Are you a teacher that currently or has previously experienced a chronic disability or temporary condition that limits your abilities in the school environment?

For the purpose of this survey, a disability is defined as any condition that limits a person's ability to perform typical daily activities, such as walking, seeing, hearing, learning, or working. This includes physical, sensory, cognitive, mental health impairments or temporary injuries or health conditions such as chronic back pain or pregnancy.

We are currently researching how to better design teaching environments for teachers with disabilities. Your unique experiences and perspectives will help us identify and understand the challenges and pain points design can help address.

Whether you’re currently teaching, have switched professions, have retired, or are on a career break - your experiences and perspectives are invaluable.

This study will contribute to knowledge on how to design teaching environments for teachers with disabilities and various conditions. In this sense, you would potentially benefit from the valuable contributions of the research that may impact individual wellbeing or personal workplace circumstances in the future.
