One college, one vision.
To align with the TCC’s new ONE COLLEGE mission, prioritize requirements for their ongoing bond program, and define strategic direction for the institution, we worked on the
master plans for seven campuses. With campuses varying in size, character and context, our approach was tailored to address campus level priorities while aligning with TCC’s goals. The master plans were designed with an over 10 year outlook, prioritized with available funding in the current bond program while tapping into out college resources to make the projects a reality. From typical college campus layouts, a multi-story urban campus and couple of campuses with one consolidated building, the solutions were tailored
to specifically to align with enrollment trajectory, curriculum direction, and other student experience drivers. Cost models and construction logistics help define phasing and priorities were recommended and accepted by the Board of Trustees and all campus presidents.
BIM Optimization
Our experience as master planners was augmented with BIM capabilities to expedite scenario creations for cost models, iterations for phasing for campus considerations and funding alignments for the college. Previous internal work flow, consultant coordination and collaboration with stakeholders were enhanced by the capabilities of the software. Exhibits to represent data on facility conditions, Space utilizations were created and updated periodically as they became available. Cost models benefited from our cloud-based platforms with revisions made in real time for program manager and owner input.
