China Construction Banks Tier IV Data Center is located on a peninsula on Lake Nanhu in Wuhan, China. The program consists of a substantial data center space with office areas, R&D technology labs, training areas, staff housing and support facilities totaling over 1,500,000 square feet. The data center buildings are arranged as four stand-alone structures, connected via the R&D building. The building faces and embraces the lake water, as in ancient Chinese geometry. It is said that in this arrangement the water gatherer becomes wealthy. The positioning offers a view of the lake and provides good, clean ventilation.
