Bond Planning and Master Planning, Tyler ISD

Working with the district for over 20 years, Corgan has supported Tyler ISD through three bond programs. The district engaged Corgan as the district's master architect to work on options, costs, plans, and standards for the potential replacement, renovations, and relifing of their two high schools — Tyler Legacy High School and John Tyler High School. Working closely with the administration, we developed a district-wide master plan that was approved by the school board for the replacement of the two high school campuses on their existing sites. Our services included high school program development, education specifications for the high schools, technical standards development, conceptual planning scenarios as well as estimates of probable cost. Corgan developed a communications program and video to describe the plan for Tyler Legacy High School to the community. Our planning, standards development, leadership, assessment, critical thinking scenarios, options, and communications were pivotal to create a supported plan with a positive result.
