Everyone's convinced AI will change construction. 2026 could be the year when AEC firms figure out how.
While they might not be pioneers, more AEC firms are like Corgan, whose “fast follower” approach strategically implements proven AI applications, says its President and Interiors Sector Leader Lindsay Wilson. Corgan has already integrated AI into high-impact areas that directly serve its clients, including enhancing original designs with visualizations, reducing client revision cycles, and accelerating decision making.
This year, Corgan will be exploring emerging fabrication methods that include 3D-printed concrete to prototype small-scale interventions that “advance our pursuit of net-zero energy design,” says Lindsay Wilson, Corgan’s President and Interior Sectors Leader.
