Corgan Wins Sustainable Leadership Award from CoreNet Global
Award Recognizes Industry Leadership in Sustainable Design and Environmental Performance
Global architecture and design firm Corgan has received the CoreNet Global 2026 Sustainable Leadership Award, reflecting the firm’s commitment to advancing sustainable design. Corgan was honored for its role in delivering an integrated design solution for architecture and sustainability for Wells Fargo’s corporate campus in Irving, Texas — designed to be the largest net-positive corporate campus in the United States. Presented by CoreNet Global, the world’s leading association for corporate real estate professionals with 10,000 members in 50 countries, the Sustainable Leadership Award honors organizations that are redefining what’s possible through innovation, measurable impact and long-term environmental stewardship.
The landmark Wells Fargo corporate campus sets a new standard for workplace design, balancing performance, employee experience, and environmental stewardship. At 850,000 square feet, the 22-acre, net-positive development is designed to support 4,000 employees. An integrated design process and innovative design, including optimized floor plates, a high-performance envelope including dynamic glazing, 360,000 square feet of solar panels, and high-efficiency building systems allow the campus to generate more energy on-site than it consumes while reducing water use and fostering employee wellbeing and connection.

The award reflects Corgan’s commitment to integrated sustainable design via Corgan—Echo. Led by a team of sustainability experts, Corgan—Echo supports clients and firmwide initiatives through strategic planning, research and performance analysis. The practice translates sustainability goals into actionable design strategies that advance decarbonization, resilience, resource conservation and long-term value.

As a recipient of the Sustainable Leadership Award, Corgan is also being considered for the Global Innovator's Award, CoreNet Global's highest honor. Both awards will be presented in October at the 2026 CoreNet Global North America Summit in Chicago, recognizing projects and organizations that are transforming the future of corporate real estate through innovation and impact.
