Billions in Fort Worth projects: Stockyards icons and a huge Bass-tied development

Construction has begun on the first phase of the Westside Village project, a $1.7 billion mixed-use district that covers 37 acres west of downtown.
Dallas-based Larkspur is partnering with Keystone Group, a Fort Worth based private investment firm owned by billionaire businessman and philanthropist Robert Bass, on the project. When all is said and done, the site will hold 880,000 square feet of office space, 238,000 square feet of retail, a boutique hotel, and 1,785 apartments.
The office building was designed by the Michael Hsu Office of Architecture with Corgan serving as architect of record. Corgan is also leading design on the apartments.
