New pieces coming to 1,100 acres in north Fort Worth

Northwest-Village_Dallas-Morning-News

Development continues on more than 1,100 acres in the reaches of northern Fort Worth that will eventually hold thousands of homes, hundreds of apartments, and future restaurant, office and retail spaces. The latest pieces are new luxury apartments.

South Carolina-based Woodfield Development has filed plans with the state to build 455 units at Roaring River Road and State Highway 114 near Texas Motor Speedway. Construction is set to begin in June. The first apartments will be ready in late 2025, said Adam Soto, the firm’s Texas development partner. The estimated construction costs are just over $101 million.

The 455 units will be spread across two buildings. The first phase will include 256 units in a five-story building, and the second phase will feature a four-story building with 199 units. The site will also include structured parking. Dallas-based Corgan Associates is the architect for the project.

Apartments will range from studios to units that span two and three levels. A three-story apartment, the property’s largest, would include three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
