Phil Mein Prize for Design Excellence

Phil Mein began his career with Corgan in 1979, and was made a Managing Principal in 2000. He retired four years later. To honor and celebrate his 25 year career with Corgan, and as an acknowledgement of his contribution to quality architecture, we established the Phil Mein Prize for Design Excellence.

This annual prize is awarded to the firm member who best demonstrates leadership through design excellence; is professionally dedicated to design excellence as exhibited in their work; promotes design, and educates others on the value of exceptional design. Recognition of one’s work through design awards, publication in the architectural/ interior design press, and/or serving on design related committees in leadership roles weighs significantly in the nomination decision. All members of the firm below the Principal level are eligible for consideration.
