Joe Sample, famous jazz musician, grew up in the fifth ward neighborhood of Houston where our Young Men's College Preparatory Academy project is located. He volunteered to give back to his community by sponsoring a recording studio at the school that will be used by their jazz program. Mr. Sample is also donating his personal concert grand piano to be installed in the studio. Corgan employees were fortunate enough to visit with him and hear about his recording sessions at Motown with many famous artists.
