Zillow Offers is the division of Zillow Group that buys and sells homes. As a new venture for the company, they began with a start-up mentality, initially occupying a local coworking space to set up their operations, but quickly outgrew the space. Zillow selected the Scottsdale Galleria for their new home, a hub for technology companies in search of rich culture and amenities. Because so many other tech companies have relocated to the Galleria, competition is fierce, and Zillow wanted a space that could double as a recruiting tool. Zillow charged Corgan with designing a unique space that would help attract the employees they needed to hire. The project would need to find balance – the design had to be highly creative, but also utilize corporate workstation standards – the design needed to maximize headcount, but also provide spaces that supported collaboration and privacy. To design a space that was an authentic representation of the culture and shined a focus on residential real estate, Corgan took inspiration from local residential design. The floor plan was divided into three neighborhoods, each based on a local neighborhood in the Phoenix area. The meeting spaces celebrate the neighborhood inspiration with decorative wallcovering, accent carpet and unique lighting bringing warmth into the space. The break room includes elements of a farmhouse style kitchen, inviting employees to relax and unwind in the adjacent backyard-like seating area, which also doubles as a training room and is divisible by curtains. Meeting spaces were planned at a variety of sizes and distributed throughout the office to support different working styles. With cozy features to make employees feel at home, this is not your typical tech office space and Zillow Offers is glad to be home.
Technology, market disruptions, and social change are constantly rewriting the rules of the workplace. As businesses sprint into uncharted territories, we evolve and anticipate how these changes will impact the workplace.
At Corgan, we know agility is vital to problem solving. We listen deeply to our clients, conduct research, and evaluate all that's going on in the world. We build proactive teams — the right designers, the right researchers, the right experts in trends and strategy — deftly collaborating to create beautiful, relevant, and surprising solutions. One size does not fit all — our teams are nimble and customized for each project; the right expertise is brought in when needed, and off the team (and the invoice) when they’re not.
We solve complex problems with empathy, evidence, and inspiration. We are always, always dedicated to making sure our clients are ahead of the curve.

Furniture strategy is a plan of action designed to maximize the potential of your business with the physical tool that your team members interact with most: furniture. We guide our clients and work with each vendor to determine their best solution – rather than developing the solution first and asking each vendor to replicate it.
