The Platinum Park Office Development represents the return of speculative office buildings to the Dallas-Fort Worth market. This 180,000-square-foot building incorporates sensible, cost-effective construction methodologies in innovative ways to create a Class A office development that takes advantage of a tried and true construction methodology. Typically, tilt-wall buildings have been limited to four stories due to structural and constructability limitations. Using an innovative structural approach of stacking the exterior wall panels, Platinum Park is the first five-story, tilt-wall office building, which makes it the tallest of its kind in the North Texas market. While parking structures are not usually known for their visual appeal and architectural character, covered and secure parking are amenities that a Class A market demands. Often the spaces between parking structures and office buildings are utilitarian and not particularly desirable. Platinum Park challenged this notion by creating a heavily landscaped park between the office building and the two-level, 360-car garage, which serves as a full and lush green buffer between the two structures and as an amenity to the tenants in the building. The 34,000-square-foot floor plates allow for appealing views in all directions and the park truly lives up to its name by providing a unique amenity to this office market.
