Conifer’s new office consolidates employees from two locations and accommodates 1,200 people. Corgan conducted a workplace survey with over 800 associates and met with a leadership and employee focus groups to define objectives for the project. This strategy resulted in a flexible work environment with improved access to natural light. The workplace can accommodate rapid change with access to new technology and emerging work styles. Situated on four floors, it was important to the client to have visual reference to help with wayfinding for employees. With the furniture solution being a critical component to the design strategy, Corgan developed an RFP and mock-up to allow associates to vote on the desired solution. This resulted in consensus regarding the furniture and seating solution while promoting excitement about the new facility.
