Erik Strain

Since joining Corgan as an intern in 2008, Erik has delivered projects through all phases of development — from schematic design to project closeout, focusing on creating an elevated passenger experience and a sense of place. “Many aviation clients want to impress upon passengers the vision of their city, region, and culture.”

Erik oversees client engagement, documentation, consultant coordination, and construction administration. Erik’s two most notable projects include the Dallas Love Field Modernization Program and Brownsville-South Padre Island International Airport. Each project transformed or replaced existing, dilapidated facilities with modern terminals, improving the passenger experience and serving as a resource for the surrounding community.

Outside work, Erik enjoys spending time with his wife, who also works at Corgan, and their two boys. “Any opportunity to get out into nature with my family is restorative and helps to keep things in perspective.”
