What architect/designer/project most inspires you and why?

Santiago Calatrava. I believe he embodies my idea of what a true architect is and should be; creative, but logical. He understands what it takes to push the envelope during the creative process but still recognizes the constraints provided by the architect’s pragmatic approach.

What is your favorite food or cocktail?

Jellybeans, especially the sour ones.

How do you take your coffee?

Hazelnut creamer with two tablespoons of honey.

What has been your favorite project to work on at Corgan and why?

The Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Station located in Lawton, Oklahoma. I really enjoyed the opportunity to not only program for a fire station, but to work alongside the client and user group to determine what the needs are and how we can design to those needs. Taking the project from an early stage and beginning to develop a program sets up the foundation to what could be an exciting project.
